I hired Dario to check the grounding of the house and upgrade the older electrical panel in the house in preparation for a new kitchen and boiler. Instead of doing what was necessary he took it upon himself to. 1. Buy over 200 Euro of plumbing equipment to install new pipes for the boiler, AFTER I told him to use the existing pipes. I already had all the hoses, valves and adapters. 2. Break the wall and drill through the floor to install new PPR pipes. The helper destroyed areas of the wall which were not needed. They cut and rejoined the pipe in several areas. The couplings were not straight/right angles. I was later unable to properly close the wall. 3. Instead of replacing the existing breaker box, he decided to rig up a cable and tap off the existing box. He pulled a cable over the attic rafters and installed a new breaker box above the kitchen. 4. He ignored the fact that there was no earth ground and installed a residual current device or surge circuit breaker on the new box, this leaving the old one unprotected. The neutral wire going to new box is attached to all of the neutrals in the old box. 5. While here, they used several of my personal tools and supplies. He even asked me if I had Gips! 6. They took almost 50 meters of my own cable without me noticing until later. 7. Dario refused to give me a written offer or receipt for payment. He forced me to pay him cash (I assume so there's no paper trail and he can avoid tax and liability for his work). 8. He charged me 300 for labor, 300 for electrical equipment PLUS the 200 for plumbing junk I didn't actually need. 9. Allowed his worker to disrespect and sexually harass me. 10. Allowed his worker to smoke and leave cigarette trash in front of my house. The set up worked for almost one month, but then I noticed both the washer and boiler were not working two days ago. I checked the breakers and it appears the main surge protection breaker has failed and cannot be reset. I brought this to Dario's attention. He said he would come check and fix the issue, but he has since ignored me. To sum this up, the work was sloppy at best. Dario Elektroinstalacije j.d.o.o is not a professional and trustworthy service. NOT RECOMMEND. If you want to be ripped off, give him a call.
